Violet vs Racmo

Violet and Racmo are both MapleStory bots, but they work in different ways. Racmo is a macro recorder; Violet runs inside the game client. That one difference decides what each can see, what hardware it needs and how it deals with lie detectors.

02How they work
Racmo. Racmo is built around Record & Play: you record a farming rotation once and it plays it back, solving runes along the way. A recording repeats what you did rather than reacting to where monsters are.
Violet. Violet runs inside the client and reads the game’s own state: the map, every monster, your buffs, cooldowns and inventory. It bypasses the anti-cheat instead of hiding from it, so there’s no second PC, Pico or capture card to set up. It doesn’t need the window in focus, and one PC can run several clients from a single browser panel.
03Lie detectors
Racmo’s site lists rune solving but not lie detectors. Check with them before leaving it unattended.
Violet reads the lie detector from inside the client and answers it. There’s no image to misread, and it solves every one.
04Beyond farming
Violet automates the gear grind too: Auto Starforce, Auto Cube, Auto Flame and Inner Ability, each with a target and a budget. The Scheduler plans a whole day, from farming to dailies at reset, with rules that log you out and message you on Discord when a GM appears. Anything not built in can be scripted in Lua. 05Which should you pick?
Pick Racmo if all you want is to replay a rotation you recorded yourself, with the simplest possible setup.
